Two of my heroes growing up went on to leave the Christian faith! Let me rephrase. They not only left the faith, they became missionaries for atheism and even satanism. I am sure that I am not alone. Maybe you have met people that seemed to be Christians, but then just walked away. What are we supposed to think about this. John had to deal with the same thing in his ministry. Some of his spiritual children in the faith walked away, and they didn’t just walk away, they began to spew error.
