“BIG A, little a” – Daniel 11:21-45

BIG A, little a!  What begins with “A”?  Anitchrist, Antiochus, and Titus all begin that way!!  In the second part of Daniel 11 we have the careers of two very evil men described for us.  And . . . I think we can glean from their lives and destinies a little bit about how God works in history and what will happen to those who oppose God and oppress his people.  Join us as we analyze the rise and fall of Antiochus and Antichrist!   Sermon originally preached on July 31, 2011.

Daniel and the Lion’s den is a very popular story.  We have all heard it from the time that we were knee high.  But . . . what does it have to say to us today as we try to live out our relationship with God?  I think it is a call to faithfulness.  Daniel was faithful in the good times and that helped him to be faithful when the storms blew.  Join us as we learn in what arenas Daniel was faithful and how we can imitate him.    Sermon originally preached on May 22, 2011.

“A One-Sided Contest” – Daniel 2:1-30

Many seek power today.  Some turn to things like the occult, idols, and witchcraft to get it.  Others turn to their-selves or their own    ingenuity.  BUT . . . if we don’t turn to the true and living God we are looking for answers in the wrong place.  Join us as we witness a battle between impotent idols and the omnipotent God, and just see who wins in the end.  Sermon originally preached on April 3, 2011.
